Membership categories

Full Memberships $125.00 annually

Full Memberships in the Club are available to any person who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors and is in good standing with the Club or any previous figure skating club in which membership was held. Full Membership shall entitle such person to: membership in the USFSA; vote in all matters concerning the Club; skate in all Club sessions, shows, clinics and exhibitions; take tests during Club test sessions at fees established for members; and any other privileges approved by the Board of Directors. Any person seeking membership in the Club who is under the age of 18 years must have their application for membership signed by a parent or guardian. In such instances, the parent or guardian shall conduct all voting privileges on behalf of the minor child.

Additional Full Memberships $85.00 annually

Additional Full Memberships are entitled to the same rights as a full member. To join as an additional full member, the applicant must be part of a family group that includes a judge, professional, or lifetime member and pay the fees designated by the Board of Directors.

Lifetime Memberships Conditional

Lifetime Memberships are available to any person who has been a member in good standing of the Club for at least twenty-five (25) years or has attained the age of 80 years old.  The privileges available to Lifetime Members are the same as those available to Full Members. Lifetime membership is provided at no cost to those who are determined eligible by the Board of Directors. 

First Year Memberships $50.00 one year only

First Year Memberships are available, on a one-time basis, to any person who pays the fee designated by the Board of Directors, and who has never been a member of any USFSA Skating Club or an Independent Member of USFSA.  The privileges available to First Year Members are the same as those available to Full Members.

Professional Memberships $70.00 annually

Professional Memberships are available to any person who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors, and, at the time of application for a Professional Membership, is at least 18 years of age and is on contract as a figure skating coach at the Outpost Ice Arenas with a minimum of non-qualifying credentials for USFSA compliance as a coach.  Professional Members shall receive all the benefits available to Full Members. Professional members in good standing, may participate and coach on club ice sessions. In addition, each person receiving a Professional Membership is required to provide professional instruction on Club sessions and other club sponsored activities or volunteer at a minimum of one event as determined by the Board of Directors. This membership is automatically revoked if minimum compliance requirements are not met with USFSA. 

Associate Skating memberships $40.00 annually

Associate Skating memberships are available to any person who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors and who calls another USFSA Skating Club their Home Club, as defined by USFSA. All associate memberships are club level memberships and are designed to extend limited benefits, as determined by the Board of Directors, to these members. Associate members have no voting rights, are not eligible for reimbursements, and are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. This membership is also extended to people who support the club’s vision and mission and may be recreational skaters who do not require membership in USFSA, but wish to support at the club level.

Judge Memberships Conditional

Judge Memberships are available to any person who at the time of applying for membership: (1) has been appointed a skating judge by the USFSA; (2) is eligible pursuant to the rules of the USFSA to judge skating tests at ABQfsc test sessions; and (3) pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors.  The privileges available to Judge Members are the same as those available to Full Members. All judge members must judge a minimum of one event for the Club.

Collegiate Memberships $105.00 for 4 years (conditional)

Collegiate Memberships are available to any person who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors, is in good standing with the Club, any previous figure skating club in which membership was held, or the USFSA in the case of a former or current Individual Member, and is currently enrolled in college or will be enrolled in college for the coming academic year.  Collegiate  Membership carries the same privileges as a full member.

Patron Memberships varied

$25.00 Patron Memberships are available to any person who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors, and who is interested in the advancement of figure skating.  Patron Members shall have no voting or skating privileges, and are unable to hold office or serve on the Board of Directors.  Such persons shall not be registered with the USFSA, but shall receive the Club communications and may receive discounts to shows, competitions, exhibitions, and other privileges as approved by the Board of Directors.

$50.00 Patron Friend Memberships are available to any person who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors, and who is interested in the advancement of figure skating.  Patron Friend Members shall have no voting or skating privileges, and are unable to hold office or serve on the Board of Directors.  Such persons shall not be registered with the USFSA, but shall receive the Club communications and may receive discounts to shows, competitions, exhibitions, and other privileges as approved by the Board of Directors. This membership includes two Christmas show tickets.

$100.00 Patron Partner Memberships are available to any person or business who pays the yearly fee designated by the Board of Directors, and who is interested in the advancement of figure skating.  Patron Partner Members shall have no voting or skating privileges, and are unable to hold office or serve on the Board of Directors.  Such persons shall not be registered with the USFSA, but shall receive the Club communications, receive discounts to shows, competitions, exhibitions, and other privileges as approved by the Board of Directors. This membership includes two Christmas show tickets. This membership also includes a free mention or business card ad, as appropriate as determined by the Board of directors, in all club programs for the year.

Non-Skating Board Memberships Conditional

Non-Skating Board Memberships are available to members who serve on the Board of Directors but are not skating members or professionals. Non-skating board members are entitled to vote at all club meetings and board meetings, and to receive other privileges as determined by the Board of Directors. USFSA membership is included as it is required for board members.

Emerging Competitor Associate Membership $25.00 annually

Emerging Competitor Associate Memberships are club level memberships and do not include membership to USFSA. This membership is designed for any age skater entering the sport. An emerging competitor is entitled to attend club parties and club events. They may be invited to club clinics when appropriate. Emerging Competitor Associate members shall have no voting or expected skating privileges and are unable to hold office or serve on the Board of Directors. Such persons may not be registered with the USFSA, but shall receive Club communications and may receive discounts to shows, competitions, and exhibitions, and other privileges as approved by the Board of Directors.
