About the Photographers:
The webmaster has decided that photographing skaters has to be one of the most difficult challenges in figure skating. It requires lots of practice, like consistently landing one's first axel.
Most of our skating pictures are usually taken by our very own skater/father Michael McDonald. His skills in this arena are increasing with every competition! Unfortunately, Michael could not join us at CSI 2002, so we had to get creative!
The skating pictures in this collection have been most helpfully provided by the fabulous digital photographers at CatchaStar. They provide quite a performance themselves! They have the fastest photographers I've ever seen. They take about 40 pictures of each program and you can buy prints or CD's of your fave skaters from them. Check out their website!
The rest of our pictures were generously provided by Nina Kane, Nancy Malone, Kathy Richie, Terra Reed and the Webmaster, Marti Reed. They probably would all like digital cameras for Christmas by now, but they also found Kodak's web-based services to be very helpful for this whole endeavor.
If you have pictures you would like to share via this website, please contact the Marti Reed. Her skills in editing and putting up decent fast-loading pictures are improving and she would like to share this space with you. She can scan photos or receive digital images. Of course, she has the final say in exactly what goes up here!!!!
