Club Dresses

The AFSC skating dress is a custom, special order dress! The dress fabric is four-way stretch velvet and nude mesh (see design below). The velvet color is "Eggplant," a stunning, rich, deep, lush purple! The skirt is a circle skirt with a length that will reach about mid-thigh. The dress bodice is lined below the mesh.

AFSC asks that everyone add a line of Swarovski crystals across the velvet where the velvet and nude mesh meet, at the neck (like a necklace), and at the edge of the skirt hem.

Crystals for the dress

Use Swarovski Light Amethyst AB crystals!

Neckline and bodice crystals:

Use size 20SS crystals on dresses which are sized adult large and smaller.

Use size 30SS crystals on dresses which are sized adult extra large and larger.

Space crystals along neckline and bodice at one crystal width apart. This works out to be approximately 3.25 size 20SS crystals per inch or 2 size 30SS crystals per inch.

Hemline crystals:

Same crystal guidelines as above. Space size 20SS crystals at 1 inch apart and size 30SS crystals at 2 inches apart.

Purchasing crystals:

You can purchase your crystals any place you like.
